FOTD/EOTD + Eyeliner Tutorial (Requested) + Miracle Skin Transformer

Here's my FOTD & EOTD from last night. It's very simple & neutral but also smoky, which I've been loving lately. Anyways, hope you guys like it.

Btw, if you're wondering I am not wearing the Geo Angel Brown lenses, I am actually wearing the Pop C Light in Brown. (which looks insanely similar with the Geo Angel Browns)

Miracle Skin Transformer :

So, if you guys didn't know, Miracle Skin Transformer is actually a new product, so they are giving away free samples at their website so everyone can try it out before it launches. Kind of like a sneak peek or a preview before the full sized item comes out. Anyways, they are offering free samples for everyone to try, and be aware that these samples are a limited time offer and it ends in August. So what are you waiting for, get your free samples now.

Ok, so you're probably wondering, "What is this Miracle Skin Transformer? & What does it do?" Well, it's simple, it HYDRATES, ENHANCES & PROTECTS. It's great because it has SPF20 which is especially great since it's summer and we all want to be outside, playing under the sun, which can be a bit harsh if you're outdoors for a long period of time. The Miracle Skin Transformer has amazing natural ingredients that are good for your skin. Saw Palmetto Extract which soothes and moisturizes the skin, Vitamins K & A that helps diminish dark circles, redness and helps the production of skin building compounds & it also exfoliates and renew the skin.

The Miracle Skin Transformer leaves your face matte and evens out your skin tone. The consistency is like a chocolate moose, i would say, because it almost has that whipped consistency just like a chocolate moose. It's very light and airy and settles on the skin without leaving an oily residue. As for coverage, this reminds me of a light fluffier texture of a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer, it's definitely not a full coverage foundation.

I actually mix this with my moisturizer and it's like mixing a tinted moisturizer with my actual moisturizer, but with more benefits than just a regular tinted moisturizer.

Anyways, the full sized Miracle Skin Transformer are available in 4 different shades. (Colorless, Light, Medium & Tan) But, the samples are available in only 2 colors which are Medium & Tan. I received the Medium & Tan shades, and it's very good comparison with my skin tone. Tan, however, is very dark on my skin. So I'm sure Tan will work best for those who have Medium-Dark skin tones.

Try the Miracle Skin Transformer SPF20 before it launches. Send your request for a FREE travel 5ml size tester. The full sized Miracle Skin Transformer will be available in August 1, 2010 via http://miracleskintrasformer.com

[Review] Heidi Yi Cosmetics --pic heavy

Heidi Yi is an Australian born Korean, who is both a professional makeup artist & also an author of  the "Pro Makeup by Heidi Yi" an Australian book that gives you tons of amazing makeup tips & tricks. Heidiyi.com is based in Australia. However, I believe, they ship internationally as well. Another thing I love about her cosmetic products is that, they don't test on animals, which is a huge thing for me. Also, another thing that I love is that she's an Asian woman. Not to sound racist or anything, but I just feel like she understands Asian skin tones much better because she's one, herself. Also, the fact that she has 13 years under her belt as a professional MUA, relieves me because she knows what she's doing. She has also won several beauty related awards & nominations.

Anyways, here are some of the goodies that Heidi sent me. She is a crazy woman for spoiling me with so much goods from her line.

I opened her package & saw all these goodies. I'm surprised on how much she sent me! Thank you so much, Heidi.

Here's the swatches to everything:

[click the links to be directed to the product]

1.) Warm Beige Foundation
2.) Medium Beige Foundation
3.) Sunkiss Bronzer
4.) Sunshine Bronzer
5.) Frosted Plum Blush
6.) Matte Apricot Blush
7.) Frosted Berry Blush
8,9,10.) Concealer Trio

Foundations: ♥♥♥♥♥
I love these foundations because they match my skin tone so well. It's amazing how Heidi was able to pick out the foundations that matched my skin. Although, I use these foundations over my liquid foundation, it does the job of making my face matte & smooth the whole entire time. Sometimes, I have this foundation on for 5-10 hours & never did it cake on me or anything. I love how these foundations have yellow & olive under tones to them. Very perfect for darker Asian skin :)

Blushes: ♥♥♥♥
These blushes are pretty amazing as well. Frosted Plum & Frosted Berry are of course, frosted & really shimmery but not as pigmented as the Matte Apricot. I love all three blushes because they are all different in some yet most ways. All 3 gives you that nice glow that's perfect for everyday wear. However, my all time fave is definitely the Matte Apricot mainly because I'm into matte blushes. I love the dewiness these blushes give your skin.

Bronzers: ♥♥♥♥♥
The Sunkiss bronzer is a bit too dark for my already "tanned"skin, so I didn't use it that much. However for those who want that "I just sun-tanned for a few mins on the beach" look, then this bronzer is perfect for you. However, the Sunshine bronzer is just right for my skin tone. I love how it's not too dark or too light. I can actually even use this as blush to give my skin that bronzy glow.

Heidi also was nice enough to include this 119 page; makeup guide book that was written by her. I actually really like it because it gives you a lot of tips & tricks when it comes to makeup, makeup application to enhance your features & makeup for different skin tones. I love it because I learn a lot from this little book :)

Heidi also sent me some nail goodies from her Ebay.

Concealer Trio: ♥♥♥
This Concealer Trio is actually very beneficial for me because not only does it have 3 different shades, it is also very bendable which helps you create the perfect concealer for your shade. It has light, medium & dark shade for all skin tones. This is also very nice to carry when I have makeup gigs because unlike my 15 piece concealer palette, this one is compact which makes it easier for me to carry it everywhere. I can even carry this thing in my makeup bag. The consistency of this concealer is really light, not as thick as the MAC's Studio Finish that I normally use, it is a bit watery but dries up well. I actually really like the consistency of this concealer than my MAC. However, the coverage is light-medium, unlike MAC's which is full coverage. But, what's great about this concealer is that, I'm pretty sure you can build up the product and make it a full coverage concealer.

Heidi is just super sweet & even included this super cute blingged out kabuki brush & this Blush/Bronzer Flat top Brush. Although, I must say, I really love the bligged out kabuki brush more than the blush/bronzer brush. The kabuki brush is not only cute, but it is way softer than the blush/bronzer brush. I actually use the kabuki brush to apply my mineral foundation.

[Review] Glamour Doll Eye Shadows

Hey lovlies,
Anyways, here's yet another review :) This time it's on Glamour Doll Eye Shadows. So if you guys didn't know, Glamour Doll Eyes actually give blogger & youtube gurus the opportunity to test out their products for review purposes. The only thing is you have to apply and meet the requirements. Anyways, I applied for the "One Time Review" & I was then contacted by, Vee and she asked me to pick 6 shadows for my review. Anyways, some of you might know about them and some of you might not, so here's a quick FYI on what the company is all about.

About Glamour Doll Eyes:
Glamour Doll is an eye shadow company that strives to bring you fashionable and unique colors to strut your stuff! Our eye shadows are great for any age! All of our ingredients are made from earth minerals. The main ingredients we use are Magnesium Stearate, Zinc Oxide, Kaolin Clay and Methicone Treated Titanium Dioxide. All of the colors we use in our eyeshadow s are FDA approved for eyeshadow use.

Anyways, here are the eye shadows that I had picked out.
Veteran, Ladies Night, Chocoholic, Royal Assassin, Pinky Swear & Jailhouse Jumpsuit
Pretty innovative names, I must say ^_^

Here are more pictures of the eye shadows (clear)

- Veteran: Shimmery dark blue with a purple undertone
- Ladies Night: Matte black (has obvious blue flecks)
- Chocoholic: Shimmery brown
- Jailhouse Jumpsuit: Shimmery bright yellow-orange
- Pinky Swear: Shimmery pink with a purple undertone
- Royal Assassin: Matte plum (has obvious opal flecks)

Here is the make over pic of my sister that I did a couple of months ago.
In this picture, I used Veteran for the lids, Pinky Swear for the top half of the crease & Ladies Night, on the top of Veteran.

As you can see, the eye shadows are very very pigmented. And they just sparkle like diamonds <3

Overall thought:
The Jailhouse Jumpsuit, & the Pinky Swear apply more sheer unlike the rest of the eye shadows (however, they are still very buildable) I love those two colors for summer time. However, it doesn't show as vibrant on my skin because I'm a bit tanned, so I was thinking maybe these colors would look great on someone who has a bit of a lighter complexion than me. Chocoholic is a nice shade of brown, it almost has that coppery feel to it that is also really nice for this season, especially if youre trying to achieve the "bronzed look." Royal Assassin, Ladies Night & Veteran are my favorites out of the bunch. Royal Assassin and Ladies Night are matte eye shadows with a more obvious flecks of glitter. I feel like both have a less finer feel to them unlike the the other 4. I think out of all of the shadows, Veteran is the most pigmented out of all 6. Although, all 6 are very well pigmented, I just find myself more drawn to Veteran because of its rich, bold, blue color. Anyways, overall, I love love GDE they have a wide selection of colors to chose from. They have very pigmented e/s and little goes along way, trust me.
