Hey loves!
So, I thought I'd add this little segment in my blog since I know I don't update on personal style posts as often as I should. But anyway, I hope you like my photos! I update my instagram a whole lot since it's very convenient and I could just take photos (outfit of the days, ie.) with the self timer on my Samsung Galaxy.

So, the first 7 photos are pretty much self explanatory since they are all pictures of my outfits. The first photo on the 2nd row (wearing blue dolman sweater w/ leopard print on the sleeves) is from OASAP.com Isn't it very cute though?

The following photo on the 3rd row is just a picture of this super yummy crepes that I had for my 25th birthday. I'm not much of a cake person so my siblings thought that we could just have some crepes instead since it's less sweet :) --considering the fact that I don't really have a sweet tooth. Crazy, I know!

Next photo is a picture of my little brother and I. We're 3 years apart so he's 22 now and I'm currently 25. He's also a LCpl. in the Marine Corps. ---He's in Afghanistan at the moment too :( But he'll be returning back to Japan early December, so I'm very much relieved about that.

The first photo on the 4th and last row is just a self picture... kind of like an obligatory daily photo haha! Next is a pic of a few models that I helped style and dress for this Fashion show for British designer and Sacramento local, Caren Templet. The last photo is a picture of the very spicy cucumber kimchi that my little sister and I made. It's so good but incredibly and ridiculously spicy and with spicy I mean like hell in your mouth spicy. haha!

Anyway, hope you guys like this little insta-segment. ^^
So, if you haven't followed me already, please do so if you want. I mostly post pictures that are either fashion related and a couple or few conceited photos along with some food pics in the mix + a little bit of everything else in between.

So, if you have an instagram....feel free to follow me!

FASHION FOCUS: HIGH WAIST LEGGINGS
High waist bottoms basically lifts, tones and makes your legs incredibly elongated, which is why I love it! However, the only flaw you'll get from wearing high waist leggings is that it might showcase unnecessary bumps and lumps that you are trying to conceal. On a much lighter note, high waist bottoms will not only elongate your legs but will also make your bum look firmer. HA! now, isn't that all we really want ladies?
Anyway, in today's look, I am rocking these awesome high waist disco leggings along with a floral print chiffon button up top with a pair of Lady Gaga-esque heel less platforms. Now, this looks is definitely an understatement, even Lady Gaga herself might take a second look.

For tonight's look I decided to wear this beautiful abstract floral maxi skirt along with a denim "bustier" like top and just singeing the waist with a thrifted vintage elastic waist belt. I also brought along with me this awesome crocheted & lace cardigan, perfect for the night time as it is starting to get a little bit chilly nowadays. Overall, like always I decided to go for a look that combines both comfort, sensibility and style. hehe!

Myself along with the incredibly tall, beautiful, and fashionable, Uduak Oduok.--Former fashion model, Current editor of Ladybrille & Fashion/ Entertainment lawyer
(Now mind you, I am about 5'2 without heels and tonight I was wearing heels that are about 4 inches, which makes me roughly about 5'6ft. and yet she still towers over me by well, A LOT! hehe!)

I was incredibly humbled yet again to meet such amazing, genuine and successful people in the fashion industry. Tonight's event was my 3rd time and yet every time, I was completely blown away by the passion and how hard these people work on their own trade. I am beyond impressed on how they were able to build up their own brand and still able to keep their feet grounded.

Some of my favorite words from tonight's event:

"Fashion is about change" --Susan Ashbrook
"Education is something no one could take away from you." --Billy Ola Hutchinson
"Be humble and give the dignity that others deserve." --Michael Palladino
"Believe in yourself. Know yourself. No one should love you more than you do and no one should market yourself more than you do." --Uduak Oduok

Today was another lazy day! I seriously did not feel like getting out of bed, but of course I had to. So, instead of worrying about what to wear and take my time, I just decided to go for the obvious choice with a huge shirt, and when I say huge, I meant to way was gargantuan. Seriously, this shirt is so huge but I love it for many reasons and one of them is because it is super comfortable. Plus, I hate shirts that are too tight on my body as I feel extremely constricted in them. But, I digress! Along with this shirt, I am of course wearing, what else? leggings!!! Leggings are like my go-to when it comes to comfy bottoms and I don't care what all of you anti-leggings people think ;)
I also brought along this chiffon anchor print scarf for a little pop of color in my outfit as well as my go-to thrifted orange beanie which I stole/ borrowed from my little sister. Then, I just put on my finge Minnetonka boots and I was out the door just in time for class.

"Spring" cleaned even though it's technically not Spring anymore. Nonetheless, I decided to snap a quick photo of my tiny collection. I am seriously thinking of getting a bigger storage/organizer for all of these babies. I am running out of room in my own room >_< (and I didn't even realized that I have this much black shoes until I lined it up in order of color)

FASHION FOCUS: WEDGE SNEAKERS
The entire fashion world became addicted to this whole wedge sneaker combo this season. Because not only are they extremely comfortable but they are also incredibly stylish. They give you that super casual feel to your look but at the same time, it also gives you that little boost of height, for those of us shorties out there. I love how these can be worn with jeans, mini dresses, even some maxi dresses as well as skirts and short, you name it! These wedge sneakers will totally dress your ensemble down if you feel like you're a little over dressed for such a casual occasion. Nonetheless, I would say that this whole wedge-sneaker trend is a double thumbs up in my fashion book and definitely gets my vote.

Today was just a semi-casual day..didn't really feel like worrying too much about what to wear so I just happened to grab this particular dress and threw on this amazing cardigan that is perfect even in the summer as it has all these glorious little cut outs. It's also such a light material that whatever you pair it with, it would actually make it look a lot more comfy and less dressy.
