FASHION FOCUS: CANDY COLORS
What better way to enjoy summer fashion than to show off those candy colored accessories. Previously, I have raved about neon accessories and how much I love the brightness and energy it gives to an outfit. But for some, neon colors might be a little over the top and just too out there. Well, here's your solution! If you still want to rock bright / bold accessories without crossing the "neon line" well, here's your answer. Try CANDY COLORS!!! These Goddess Rings from Lotus Mendes are fabulous for this season. It gives just the right pop of color that ones outfit needs. These rings are made of high quality materials and are super fabulous especially when you stack them on each finger, almost like a knuckle ring. They also come in a variety of colors as well as your neutrals such as black and white. You can also find these Goddess Rings in either gold or silver, which in my case, I obviously chose gold. I can honestly say that these rings are absolutely amazing! I just love how they almost look like jolly rancher candies and I sometimes want to try licking them to see if they would taste like jolly ranchers. HAHA! But with kidding aside, I really admire the beauty that these goddess rings have. Not only are they trendy and chic but it's absolutely perfect for the season.

FASHION FOCUS: SHEER PRINT
Sheer print tops have been on the top of the fashion food chain for quite some time now. It's not only trendy, but also versatile in many ways depending on how you style them or what print the top has. Nonetheless, sheer tops are perfect, practically all season long! Since the material is almost slim to none, it gives you a nice coverage but at the same time, the sheerness of the fabric still allows your body to breath and catch some nice breeze without overheating. However, come fall and winter time, you are able to make use of the same exact top by just simply layering it underneath your favorite sweater and exposing the collar and the bottom hem a bit or with cardigans and anoraks. These tops also look great with all sorts of skirts, denim, leggings, you name it. It's not only practical but you can easily change up the feel of your look depending on how you style it. May it be casual, paired with your favorite denim skinnies and some nice flats or even sneakers, or a little city chic with a chiffon maxi skirt in heels or sandals.  Regardless of how you decide to style these babies up, it all comes down to your confidence that really will make you shine through what you wear.

PhotobucketFASHION FOCUS: BAROQUE PRINT
Baroque was a period of artistic style that used exaggeration in lighting, and intense emotion. This style started in the early 1600's in Rome, Italy and now, the same style in art and architecture has become a huge trend in fashion. We see these types of print everywhere from Versace to Emilio Pucci's collections.
The baroque print is undoubtedly an up and coming contender for the wild & floral print this season, giving those two a run for its money.
Anyway, what I love about this particular "trend" is that, it combines the best of both worlds for me. ART & FASHION~ which we all know goes hand in hand. I also love the intricate details of this certain style which gives off a very sophisticated and luxurious feel to the look. And in a way, this style somewhat reminiscent to the simplicity and subtlety of the Grecian period, for which I also appreciate and love.
As for today's look, I decided to pair my Going For Baroque Black Print Leggings with this incredibly amazing Neon Green Sweater with cut out sleeves and a semi hi-lo ribbed hem. This look is totally loud and in your face like most of my previous outfits, but that's the main reason why I am so in love with today's look.  I honestly enjoy combining these two current trends right now and though it may be a little over the top with all the neon and print, the look still gives off a very casual vibe in a less subtle way, as always.

FASHION FOCUS: EARTH TONES
This summer we see a lot of bright and bold colors and patterns, however, we tend to forget that earth tones are actually really great for the summer season as well. Often times when we think of various hues for the summer time, we automatically think bright colored tank tops, floral patterned shorts and things of that sort. And, when we see subdued colors like green, brown and various shades of beige we tend to think "Oh, that's something I'd wear in the Fall/ Winter season." And, I totally understand since these colors doesn't really represent the summer time. But on a casual day, I personally love going for neutral pieces in my wardrobe because they are easy to pair with things and are not that hard to put together. By combining flowy pieces such as this Secret Garden Tea Dress along with a sheer olive green button up top and some nude wedges, it gives the overall look that casual & laid back feel to it. It's absolutely chic in a less obnoxious way.

FASHION FOCUS: CHAIN ACCESSORIES
How can you wear, or even more so layer chain necklaces without people mistakenly thinking you're either a gangster, a pimp or something who's just stuck in the 80's? Well, the answer is, I have no idea! Sounds a little misleading or better yet, disappointing? Well, to be honest, it's not about the accessory that makes you who you are, it's all about the person and how she carries herself, that's the most important of all when it comes to fashion. So in the recent years we have seen a huge boom in statement jewelry. From bright and bold to chunky and blinged out. We have seen the use of layering/ stacking jewelry, like the saying, the more, the merrier.
In this outfit, I incorporated two different gold chunky chain necklaces that I was able to adjust in different lengths, that way, I was easily able to create the layered look. I used the Nu Sans Bijoux in "Vogue" (white) which is also by the way a 3-in-1 necklace & bracelet, as well as "Gold digger" (w/ nude pink leather). These two fabulous pieces were easily a standout not only because of its "statement piece" aspect but also because of it's amazing craftsmanship. These two pieces give off a very playful and modern with a smidge of vintage glamour. I also love the mixture of textures that gives even the most casual outfit a sophisticated quality to it.
So, in this look, I decided to tone it down a bit by wearing just a basic brown tee along with my two statement jewelry. I think it is very important to make sure that you have the right balance when it comes to knowing what's too much and too tacky. And, since I already have too much going on with my chain necklaces and my brightly print maxi, I decided to just go with a simple basic top. I also opt out my neon and over the top arm party to a more neutral substitutes.

FASHION FOCUS: WRAP BRACELETS
Have you ever had issues with bracelets or bangles not fitting your wrists because they are too tiny? Well, I'm one of those people who always seem to have major troubles when it comes to finding good stacking arm buddies. Every time I buy a bracelet or even a link watch, I have to get it resized because my wrists and arms are just way too small, which is so upsetting =/ However, wrap bracelets are a great solution for those of you who feel left out for having such teeny tiny wrists like I do.
Wrap bracelets are basically made with longer material that could be used to wrap around your wrist a couple or multiple times. So, whether you have an average size wrist or a semi-non existent one like me, wrap bracelets will do just the trick. So, now you can stack, stack, stack without having bangles or bracelets fall off your arm.
In this outfit, I am featuring the Sphink Spike Wrap Bracelet that I got from Created by Fortune. The wrap itself seems to be made out of a neon pink leather and features ten large silver spikes as well as a magnetic closure. This piece will surely be a standout on your arm-party! Not only is it bold & bright, but it might be a little on the dangerous side too (well, not exactly! but if ever you're in danger, I think this might serve as a weapon? --Now, you didn't hear this from me, alright! I don't wanna get sued. LOL!)

FASHION FOCUS: The French Tip
And no, not the type of style/ look everyone practically gets on their nails. But, you can say it somewhat has its similarities. However, the "french tip" that I'm talking about are the tips on my awesome flats.
I don't know about you but this current shoe trend is, should I say, "HAWWWT!" Yes! they definitely are! Not only are they incredibly chic, but who doesn't want flats that are extraordinarily amazing? and can I say, comfortable too? Anyway, I another reason why I am so in love with these flats is because of the gold straps  that go on the ankles....such a wonderful addition to the entire look of the shoe.
As far as styling goes, I decided to pair these "duckbill" babies (duckbill: because the gold tip on the flats makes it look like a ducks bill, get it?) with my extremely comfortable and neon leggings along with a sheer polka dot exposed shoulder button up top. Since everything on the bottom half is pretty much "tight" I decided to go for a top that has flow and movement to it. Something light and airy to balance out the look. Accessories were also on the minimal side this time around because I didn't want to over do it with all the dots happening on my top. However, a little statement piece such a chain/scarf necklace and a few vintage rings will do the trick to fully complete the look.

How would you style these "french tip" or "duckbill" flats?
