FASHION FOCUS: MIDI LENGTH
In fashion, we have heard of such terms like mini and maxi, but what exactly is a midi length? The midi length is not entirely short to be called mini nor is it too long to be considered a maxi. The midi comes to the calf, which covers the knees and thighs. And even at a certain point in time, this particular length was considered the most "proper" or most "acceptable" for the women in the society and even became a fashion statement. However, midi is not a particularly flattering length for most body types which is why it might have not gotten as much attention as the two other lengths. Midi does not entirely have that "sexy" appeal, but when styled right, I'm sure you can bring the "midi sexy" back.

In today's outfit, I'm wearing a midi length dress by Lucca Couture c/o Shoppalu.com. This dress features an elastic waist which you can either pull up or pull down to determine your length of choice. It also has a thin adjustable spaghetti straps that are convenient for modestly purposes. It also has a black lining since the main material is pretty sheer.

I chose an open toed chunky heel to give the look a more bohemian, earthy-esque feel but at the same time, breaking the dress up with a thick gold chainmail belt and accessorizing with lots of gold and silver bracelets and rings. By doing so, the look is then modernized! ~ However, if you're feeling a little bit more on the casual, strolling on the beach type, you can definitely opt those heels with some nice sandals or even espadrille/ cork wedges and of course, make sure you lessen your accessories, carry a huge beach tote/ beach bag, a huge floppy sun hat and you're all beach'd out!

So, how will you style this midi dress?
