Lies Lies Lies

Hey guys, sorry this is a short post! Been tired & busy lately~ anyways, I got bored so I did a short cover/"parody" of one of Big Bang's first songs, Lies. Hope you guys like it!

I just did it for fun & I didn't bother looking for the lyrics so if I mispronounced some words, SORRY! haha! ;)

30 Question Tag and an Everyday Highlighting & Contouring Videos

My FOTD a couple of days ago...

The eye makeup is kind of like a "CL of 2ne1" inspired. Mainly because of the thick black eyeliner.

Made From Earth Review

As most of you may know or not know, I am a huge fan of beauty and skincare products that use all natural / organic ingredients, as well as being eco-friendly.

If you have not heard of Made From Earth, well now you will. Made From Earth  carries a line of organic skin care essentials that contain the highest possible levels of organic ingredients and fruits.

They pick their manufacturers very meticulously and all their manufacturers has to provide a certificate of organic certification from the USDA that concerns their processes & ingredients. By doing so, Made From Earth only gets the best of the best that mother nature can offer.

Another thing that I love about this particular company is that they are not only vegan but they also go against animal testing, which makes their whole brand a cruelty free brand. They also have various campaigns that they support such as "The Campaign For Safe Cosmetics" which makes the effort of protecting their consumers by securing the reforms of eliminating dangerous chemicals from cosmetics and personal care products.

Anyways, Made From Earth was kind enough to send a few full sized items as well as a couple of sample sized items for me to try & review.

Hypoallergenic, non-irritating cleanser to reveal a fresher layer.

-Green Tea contains an anti-inflammatory agent that removes free radicals. (great for sensitive &/or acne prone skin types)
-It is a very mild cleaner with a faint scent of a "lotion-y" type.
-Makes my skin feel more supple & dewy.

-The packaging could have been a little better
-The consistency of the cleanser is just like of a body lotion & it feels like I'm putting lotion on my damp face. (which isn't too pleasant)
-It sort of leaves an "oily" residue on your face

Detoxifying face cleanser with rooibos tea and gentle jojoba beads

-It is a perfect scrub for those who have sensitive skin because the beads are not as rough textured.
-The smell is very faint but it has that earthy- all natural ingredient smell, which I quite like
-It is also a great gentle exfoliator, especially on cold winter days when your face gets dry & chapped.

-I wish the packaging wasn't in a jar (for hygienic purposes)
-Has that "oily" residue / non-squeeky clean feel

Best use for anti-aging & renewal

-It is a very light moisturizer
-Makes my skin feel very soft the next morning
-Keeps my face well moisturized
-Makes my face feel more plump & less dehydrated

-Packaging (I wish it was in a bottle that had a pump instead of a jar)
-The scent is quite overwhelming (so it would be best used at night)
-Takes a few mins to sink in.

Holistic body lotion for sensitive skin. Heals, soothes and protects with organic honey

-Keeps my skin well moisturized in this cold Winter season. (say no to alligator skin)
-Skin absorbs it at a fair amount of time
-I love the smell. It smells like honey with a hint of citrus
-It has a light-runny consistency

Contains vitamin e

-Gives my lips the right amount of moisture
-Smells fantastic!!!
-I love the packaging, makes it a lot easier to apply without having to dig out the product with your fingers
-Very cheap!

[CLOSED] STUNglasses Review & Giveaway

About STUN:
STUN has been in development since the summer of '83 with the birth of both founders, formerly conjoined twins. Separation by knife proved fruitful in 1984, when experts noticed the twins' uncanny ability to perform simultaneous backside board slides at the crack of a whip. The twins' careful upbringing focused on exposure to life's finest pleasantries allowing for an uncompromising palette; a penchant for the best of everything, most notably, fashion and design. Flash forward to the largest recession in US history where, regardless of the subject, the issue became the price. The twins were at a loss; How to look fresh and keep Miss Piggybank intact?

STUN carries about 6 different pairs of stunglasses. (Tortuga, Ink, Brews, Slime, Coal & Pow) each cost $24. They also carry a bundle of 3 sunglasses for only $55.

I received the Tortuga & Ink STUNglasses, which I absolutely love. I have been wearing them for quite some time now & I always get compliments on them. Especially the Ink, that has this mirror effect on it.

Another thing I love about these glasses is the quality. For $24 each, these sunglasses are very durable & made with good quality materials. To be honest, it doesn't even look like it would only cost $24.

These glasses also remind me so much of the Ray-bans original wayfarer, but so much more affordable.

Modern Chanel Amidst The Chaos

Whenever I think of Coco Chanel, I think of classic, elegant, female empowerment, pearls & of course, her take on menswear-inspired jackets & suits.

This outfit somewhat reminds me of her, mainly because of the layered pearls and the texturized jacket. Not exactly the dress nor the hair or even the yellow & floral patterned tights that gives of that modernized look. But Anyways, hope you guys like it.

Bitches & Fringes

-Bitches Slouch Tee from KRMA Clothing
-Unbranded Jeggings
-Gray leg warmers from P2000
-Bumper Trey III Ankle Booties from Inject The Venom

Slouch tees, a definite Spring 2011 fashion trend.

What is more amazing than a comfy shirt with a natural edge? Nothing! This shirt is 100% cotton & it feels super soft to the touch and very comfortable to wear. It is a quarter sleeve with bat wing arm holes, perfect for going out or even just lounging in. It can be worn with either some skinny jeans, jeggings/leggings or even some nice summer shorts.

I got this super cute tee at KRMA Clothing which is also available in high-end retail stores such as Barney's, Bloomingdales & Fred Segal.

Designer of KRMA Clothing (Kangaroos Roam Mainland Australia), Nicholas Bowes is an Australian born that is now based in the city of angels, Los Angeles. His clothing line KRMA, caters for a few A-listers such as Fergie of BEP, Alicia Keys, P!nk & more as well as other people who are interested in that vintage street-luxe rock & roll style.

Inject The Venom provides the latest & trendiest high heel shoes and boots at a very affordable price. I actually got these Trey III Ankle Booties for only $19.99. Can you just believe how amazingly affordable these awesome booties are? Not only is the price amazing but also the quality of the shoes are pretty mind blowing as well.

It is a peep toe bootie by a brand named Bumper. It is made of faux leather material, so no need to worry about PETA ;) The heels are about 5" tall, so it definitely gives you that extra lift (if you need it, like me ;) It also has a 1/2 inch exposed double platform sole which gives it that distinct and edgy look to it. These booties also have 3 exposed zipper detailing on the upper. However, these 3 zippers are not functional as they are only there as embellishments/ design.

Overall, I really love these shoes especially the color (Cognac) it is very "fall/ winter season like" which I love.  Aside from the amazing heel height, cuteness/ sexiness factor of the shoes, I also love the fact that it is very and I say very comfortable & did I not say, AFFORDABLE?

-Cognac fringe body bag from Kfashionhouse

-Cognac wrap belt from KRMA Clothing

Tassels are a symbol of luxury and this coming spring, tassels are a huge hit. Yes! When you think of tassels you probably think of furniture/ interior trimmings etc. But, now, in a time of global instability and flux, we return to luxury. But as we see it, luxury as craftsmanship. It may be in the minimal yet beautifully crafted aesthetic that's prominent right now, or it may be in a little ornament, the tassel, that carries connotations of opulence - but that sits well and truly on the opposite side of glitzy. So when it comes to investing in pieces with tassel detailing, quality is key: a well-made tassel, be it silk or leather carries that sense of luxury and authenticity.
