Conversation Pieces Review & Contest [CLOSED]

Audrey Ng is the founder and maker of Conversation Pieces, she relocated from Singapore to Los Angeles to fulfill her life long dream. She started Conversation Pieces in her bedroom approximately 8 years ago. She features indie fashion designers from as far as Spain, UK, Australia and Greece to be able to sell their pieces on her site.

The business grew from her bedroom to her living room to now, her guest house. As Conversation Pieces grew out of its shell, its consumers & customers know that they can get unique pieces with amazing quality while at the same time supporting indie fashion from all over the wold.

I was lucky enough to try one of the Convesation Pieces' dress. Audrey actually sent me the Perfect Blush Dress , which I got in size Small. It is a color blocked dress with alternating coral & white lace on the top half & a plain black bottom half. It also has pockets on both sides which are very pleasing as I am in love with side pockets on dresses. It is also a slip on dress that is made of 100% medium thickness stretch cotton which makes it absolutely easy to put on and take off.

What I love about this dress is that it can be both dressed down & worn dressed up. You can look elegant & sophisticated with this dress on, along with some nice classic black pumps or wear it a bit more casual with some boots/ booties. Either way, you would look exceptional with it on & look like a real lady.

As for the quality, Conversation Pieces does stand by it's dresses because I must admit, the Perfect Blush Dress was amazingly sewn. It looked very sturdy & not just sewn cheaply. I love the comfort & the wonderful quality. The price is well worth it knowing that these pieces can actually last you a lifetime :)

Florals in Chiffon

Hello there lovelies,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, school already started & I've been quite busy. Anyways, here's past OOTD that I told you guys that I'd post but never got the chance to. Anyways, here it is & hope you guys like it. I got the dress from

- Leopard print sunglasses from Styles
- Layered gold necklace from Styles
- 2-piece dress from
- Brown Gladiator sandals from Lulus

This dress is specifically one of my faves just because it's a 2-piece dress. It's has a built in taupe colored shirt  underneath the haltered chiffon dress. It has an elastic band waist which is great for S-M sizes. Btw, this dress is a free size dress which could be a bit of a down side for other women that are larger than a size M. However, it is still very comfortable & I love the simple detailing to it. The bottom half which is the skirt part is already attached to the shirt is actually very soft & flowy. The skirt is layered & gathered chiffon which is the same fabric used for the haltered part of the dress. This dress is pretty cool because people always think that the shirt & the dress are 2 separate pieces, which is not the case because clearly these pieces are together.

This dress gives you a modern twist of bohemian as well as this laid back, earth loving feel. It's also pretty easy to wear because you just slip this dress on, & voila! The shirt material is pretty stretchy too so if you're someone with a bigger baggage up top, then it should not be much of a problem. Also, underneath the chiffon skirt, there is a black fabric that takes care of the sheer-ness of the skirt. However, just for extra protection, I did wear a pair of black shorts underneath it.

Overall, I love how this piece is yet again, multipurpose as well as very comfortable. I love how you can style it in many different ways. It can be worn with boots, flip flops, some heels or even gladiator sandals.

Tinting of Hues

Hey loves, here's another unconventional outfit of the day. Here I'm rocking some multicolored Forever 21 dress, a pair of Betsey Johnson floral-mid calf socks & some purple & gold peep toe platform heels.

Also, about the title~ "Tinting of Hues" is like saying Thinking of You but in a silly way because of all the different hues of this look.

Oh! I also learned the real definition of Hues, Tint & Shade. You're probably like WTH? isn't it all the same? Well, it's not! Hues are the same as color but different tints and shades of it. A Shade is the darker hue of a color & a Tint is the lighter hue. For example: The color blue has different hues of blue. Navy blue is a shade of blue while Light blue is a tint of blue :)

Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed this little color lecture haha! Ok, enough with the blabbing & so here are the pictures :p

Victory Park Photoshoot (pic heavy)

So, summer is almost over but it still feels as if it just begun. Anyways, me and my little sister (who's taller than me) took our puppy, Nash to PetCo today to get his anal glands cleaned. I know, ekkk right? Anyways, after doing that, we shopped for some treats at the snack bar for our cutie, Nashy :) He's spoiled but good thing he's a smart dog so I guess it's a win-win for the both of us.

After PetCo, we headed straight to the park near by. There were a lot of parties going on so we went to the spots where they don't have that much people & my sister started taking these pictures ^_^

I got the cute shirt from  it's an over sized shirt with a built in chiffon "pancho/scarf" that is a zebra print, and it's pretty cool cause it can be worn both ways :) And as most of you guys know, I am absolutely in love with multipurpose pieces. The shirt is amazingly comfortable & since it's a loose shirt it's a perfect wear even in a hot humid weather.

I'm also rocking the Betsey Johnson jeggings that I purchased a few days ago & of course my favorite shoes to wear Dollhouse peeptoe wedges, along with a few accessories :)
