Ance History + Cellnique Review

Before you guys watch this video, I just want you guys to know that this is probably the most challenging video I've ever made. I know how hard it is to do a video without makeup on and for me, it is such a huge deal because I know that I don't have that perfect, flawless skin. I know that these are certain insecurities that I've faced for a few years now. But after those miserable years of suffering with acne, I have finally found products that do work well for me. I have regained more self confidence both inside and out. As cliche as it sounds, it's true because not only have I worked on my self confidence, outwardly, but most importantly, building my self confidence deep within me. 

I know how deeply exhausting it is to be struggling with acne. I honestly couldn't even bare look at myself at pictures or even on the mirror because I couldn't see anything else but a face full of pimples. I always thought of myself as ugly and comparing myself to other people didn't exactly help either. I was in denial with my self confidence because I didn't want people to see that certain weakness that I have in me. I wanted to show people that I am strong and I'm not like other people who struggle with self esteem. However, within those lies, it did get tiring and I just cried myself to sleep most of the night, wishing all the "ugliness" would just go away. 

I covered my face with a ton of make up thinking that will suffice the "ugliness" that I felt inside. However, it just got worse.

I've used a billion different products for my acne, but nothing worked for me. In desperate attempts, I even tried higher end acne cleaners, etc, but nothing, until I saw videos about using all natural ingredient. After more than 6 years of suffering acne, I couldn't believe that I have found it.

Back then, my parents used to always criticize how much makeup I put on my face, but what I didn't realize is that they were just telling me the truth. My boy friend also tells me that he likes me a lot better with less make up, mainly because it's just me, plain and simple. 

Now that I think back to all their comments, I realize that they're right! Now, I put a lot less foundation and makeup and you know what, I actually like it! I feel beautiful with or without makeup now, and my confidence has sky rocketed. Not only did my acne go away but I hardly break out now.

Even though my skin isn't entirely flawless, I'm content and happy to how far my skin has gotten. I have regained more self confidence and to say it in a plain and simple text....well, I feel BEAUTIFUL! Regardless of what people now think of me, I know for myself that, beauty is found within but having better and healthier skin just enhances the beauty that you already have.

This particular serum has a slight peppermint scent to it, which I love, by the way. I also love how it doesn’t leave my face all oily or feeling greasy. It actually has a matte finish which is awesome. What I love about it is it does what it claims! It gives my face this matte finish that makes it feel oil-free. My skin now feels very dewy and a lot less oily. It only takes me about 2 small pumps or 1 big one to cover my whole face or areas that are on the oiler side. I love this products a whole lot!!!!!

Derma Whitening Essence $73.00

Overall Thought: 5/5 I apply this serum right after I’ve applied my moisturizer. I use it 2x a day as well. I use it in the day time and night time. This product hardly smells like anything, if anything, it is very faint. It has a yellowish color to it that looks like mustard. The consistency is like a light foundation. It makes my face a bit shiny after I’ve applied it on, but doesn’t make my face feel too greasy. I love this product mainly because after using it, my acne scars have actually gotten a lot lighter. It really does what it claims which makes this one of my favorites as well, because I can and did see what this product can do. Plain and simple!

ADVANCED BIO RENEWAL MASQUE $51.00

Overall Thought: 5/5 This masque has a off white borderline gray color to it with micro beads that also helps gently exfoliate your face right when you wash it. It has an amazing fruity smell to it, which I love (smells like pineapples) This type of mask is actually a clay type. I use it about 1x a week after my cleaners and it gives my face this silky smooth canvas right after I wash it. Like, I can’t even explain how good this masque makes my face feel. It definitely helped smoothed out my skin a lot more, leaving my face as smooth as a baby’s bottom (literally!) I just absolutely love this masque! 

SKIN PURIFYING DAY TIME PROTECTION 20 --SAMPLE 

Discription: A specially designed 3-in-1 daytime protection with SPF20 for oily and acne prone skin. It works as a full spectrum sun protection (blocks UVA and UVB), an acne cream and a natural foundation to even acne marks. Non-oily formulation.

Overall Thought: 4/5 I use this sun block along with my Biore moisturizer. I mix a little bit of it and pat it all over my face. The consistency is very much like Missha’s Perfect Cover BB Cream. It’s a bit on the thick side, but doesn’t clog your pores. I love how the color is like a regular foundation, which really does remind me of a BB Cream. I love that it has SPF 20, which is great especially since it’s summer time and the sun is out to get us. Having SPF is always good to prevent acne scars getting more darker J

Here's my before and after pics! I've used these products for about 3 weeks and as you can see, my face has gotten a lot smoother and the acne scars has lightened up a whole lot.
